Hello to all Action Day volunteers- June 2020
Another month has gone by: I don’t know how it goes so quickly given the circumstances we are in! I hope you are all keeping well and continuing to cope with the lockdown restrictions. We have thankfully had some easing of them this month which I am sure we have all welcomed, but life is still anything but normal.
I have made enquiries with the Council about any plans to resume volunteering but they are waiting for more guidance from the government before making any decisions, so I have no news on that front yet. I can’t wait to see everyone again! Sadly, at this stage we still don’t know when that will be.
We had some beautiful photographs of the laburnum trees in full bloom at Lawnswood thanks to Anne, which we put onto Facebook for those who use it.
The next edition of the newsletter for members of the FoLC will be distributed in due course, when it is ready. We are still working on it at the moment.
And so, we will see what the next month brings and hope that it won’t be too long before we all meet again. Meanwhile, take care, stay safe, and I will continue to keep in touch each month.
