Hello again to all our Action Day volunteers on 4th July 2020
Another month has gone by – I don’t know how it goes so quickly! I hope everyone is still well and bearing up under these strange circumstances.
I recently met Ranger Nick at Lawnswood with Sue and Gladys to talk about plans for the priority tasks when we return. We don’t have any dates or plans yet from the Council but it will be good to be prepared for when we do get the green light to go back.
We will share our thoughts with the rest of the Committee and with Gardener Chris and Bereavement Services management and when we have agreed the plans we will let you know. It will be so good to be back, and there is lots to do! I really miss going every month and seeing you all. There were some LCC staff mowing in the 1910 section when we were there and doing a great job. It looked lovely!
I hope you are benefiting from the further relaxation of rules brought in on 4th July and the new guidance for us to follow.
However, please do take care, follow the guidance, and look after yourselves as we hope to see everyone back fit and well when we are able to resume volunteering activities. Fingers crossed it won’t be too long now. It will be great to see you again!
